Champion is selected as public relations agency of record for Newk's Eatery, a Jackson, MS-based fast-casual chain that operates in 16 states. Champion will spearhead proactive outreach to local, national and trade media, as well as leveraging partnerships with bloggers and athletes in target markets. London-headquartered Wilful signs on to provide media relations and content services for Earthly, a platform designed to help businesses remove carbon, restore natural environments and reverse climate change. The ongoing appointment kicked off with support for a collaboration with immersive storytelling production studio Alchemy that created an immersive 3D "island" at the recent COP26, visualizing carbon removal as a series of living ecosystems. "We were a customer of Earthly before we won this brief and would urge other PR agencies that haven't already figured out their path to carbon neutrality to check them out," said Wilful co-founder Narda Shirley. To date, Earthly has helped clients including L'Oreal, CaixaBank and Envision Virgin Racing.
