Manifest hires former WPP and Saatchi & Saatchi global creative director Kostas Karanikolas to lead its international creative team as global executive creative director. Karanikolas has also held senior creative roles at RAPP, Crispin Porter + Bogusky and BBDO. At Manifest, he will oversee the group’s creative output across its New York, London, Manchester, Stockholm and Melbourne studios. “Bringing someone of Kostas’ caliber on board is a statement of intent for us as we continue to expand our creative horizons across the group. He brings with him not just experience, but enthusiasm and passion for his work that has already inspired our creative team,” said Manifest founder and group CEO Alex Myers.

G.H. Smart & Company hires Carrie Miller as its first chief marketing officer. Miller comes to the firm after spending 15 years at Bain & Company, where she most recently served as global marketing director of recruiting. Before that, she worked at Accenture. "We have gone 26 years without a chief marketing officer, but to fulfill our full potential with colleagues and clients, we decided it was time to hire a highly-accomplished professional to elevate our brand messages as an employer and partner to CEOs and investors," said ghSMART chairman & founder Geoff Smart.

The Public Affairs Council brings on Amy Meli as senior director, effective January 2022. Meli comes to the Council from Aristotle International, where she was senior vice president of consulting. She has more than 20 years’ experience in grassroots advocacy, data analytics, coalition-building, get-out-the-vote programs, and managing grassroots and PAC software products. In her new post, she will oversee benchmarking and serve as executive director of the Foundation for Public Affairs. “Amy is a talented and respected expert on grassroots advocacy and political involvement in general. She will help us meet the evolving needs of members as we build programming that strengthens the profession,” said Public Affairs Council president Doug Pinkham.
