Avery was previously an administrator with the Illinois Health Facilities and Services Review Board, overseeing the approval and oversight of $3 billion in health care infrastructure and capital improvement projects. At Culloton + Bauer, she will advise CBL’s health care clients, including hospital systems, long-term care operators and industry associations, and help them develop public affairs strategies. “With two decades of experience in a leading role overseeing health care regulation in Illinois, it’s safe to say Courtney has seen it all. CIIC PR promotes Amy Sedeño to vice president. Sedeño, who is also a partner at the agency, spearheaded the launch of CIIC’s Miami headquarters in 2015. As vice president, she will manage CIIC’s public relations, marketing, social media and digital services across its account base in the US, Mexico, the Caribbean and Latin America.
