Hempell comes to the agency from Barna, a research organization focused on the intersection of faith and culture, where she served as senior research fellow. She was previously a partner at market research firm Hawk Partners. Kimball Hughes Public Relations promotes Hari Rajagopalan to public relations manager. Rajagopalan joined Kimball Hughes PR in May 2019 as a public relations assistant after previously serving as an intern with the agency. In his new role, Rajagopalan’s responsibilities include overseeing daily strategy, planning, media relations and content development for clients across the insurance, pet care and healthcare industries. “Hari’s skillset and character will be an asset to our clients and help us continue to grow our book of business across a range of industries,” said Kimball Hughes PR vice principal Rod Hughes.

The Right Now, an entertainment and brand communications agency, names George Cabico head of filmed content. Cabico most recently served as senior vice president, entertainment at The Lippin Group, working across the company’s television and corporate entertainment clients. He previously led consumer publicity and trade communications at Amazon Studios. Based in Los Angeles, Cabico will spearhead strategic communications and consumer publicity for the entertainment division’s television, film, streaming, audio, and production company client roster. The agency has also brought on Andrea Higgins as manager, television and talent relations. She comes to The Right Now from Audible Treats where she led music and multicultural campaigns for Netflix, TikTok, Alamo Records and EMPIRE Records.
