Incoming New York City mayor Eric Adams has appointed Maxwell Young as City Hall communications director. Young joins Adams’ staff from Everytown for Gun Safety, where he was chief public affairs officer and senior vice president. He has also served as a Metropolitan Transportation Authority spokesman and senior adviser to U.S. Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer. “Our administration is assembling a team of seasoned public servants who are battle-tested and ready to get to work on behalf of the people of this city,” Adams said in a statement.

SunPower Corp., a solar technology and energy services provider, names June Sauvaget chief marketing officer. Sauvaget most recently served as CMO at financial services company Brex. Before that, she was global head of consumer and product marketing at Spotify and head of marketing, North America at Gap. "June has a proven track record of building some of the world's most iconic consumer brands and her leadership will be critical in reimagining how solar companies market, innovate and operate," said SunPower CEO Peter Faricy.

Cybersecurity software company Keeper Security hires Gerardo Dada as chief marketing officer. Dada comes to the company from DataCore Software, where he also served as CMO. He previously worked at companies including SolarWinds, Rackspace and Microsoft, where he was director, Windows Mobile Marketing. Dada will be tasked with elevating Keeper Security's position as a market leader in password security. Keeper Security CEO said that Dada’s "deep industry experience and successful track record of proliferating sector-leading brands" will “further strengthen our existing partnerships and continue accelerating Keeper's growth.”
