Marina Maher Communications hires Joshua Wu as SVP, performance analytics. Wu joins MMC from Edelman Data & Intelligence, where he most recently served as VP. Before coming to Edelman, he received a doctorate in political science and statistical methodologies from The Ohio State University. In his new post, he will be responsible for expanding MMC’s predictive and performance analytics capabilities. Okta, an identity and access management company, brings on Cisco VP corporate communications Vitor De Souza as SVP of communications. Before joining Cisco, he was SVP global marketing at FireEye and a senior vp at Highwire PR. In his new post, he will head up the integrated Okta + Auth0 comms team. (Okta completed its acquisition of authentication and authorization platform Auth0 in May.) He will work to elevate the company’s global visibility.
Hearsay Systems, which provides compliant digital communications and workflow solutions for the financial services industry, promotes Leslie Leach to chief marketing and strategy officer. Leach joined the firm in 2020 as VP of marketing. She was previously head of marketing and operations at eCommerce platform Plantt and VP of marketing at information tech company ZapLabs. In her new role, Leach will continue to lead all market activities across the company and expand her responsibilities to include corporate strategy and long-term business strategy.
History Factory, a brand heritage and archives management company, promotes Jason Dressel to CEO as part of a new executive team. Dressel most recently served as president of the company. He succeeds History Factory founder Bruce Weindruch, who is retaining that title as well as transitioning to president and CEO of Informative Design Group, History Factory’s parent company. History Factory has also promoted executive vice president Alan Maites to chief solutions officer and senior director of operations Adam Kirshon to chief operating officer. “This is absolutely the right team to lead our firm into the future,” said Weindruch.
