Champion earns PR and social media duties for Sweetfin, a California-based fast casual restaurant chain that offers poke and plant-based bowls. Champion’s scope of work for the brand is focused on building brand awareness by generating earned media coverage. The agency will also provide social media content strategy and community management support across various channels for Sweetfin. “Champion has strong media connections in SoCal and the markets we’ll soon be entering, and their social media team is exceptional,” said Sweetfin president and co-founder Seth Cohen.
SourceCode Communications picks up Traliant, which provides online compliance training and Mathison, a scalable technology platform for diversity hiring. Since June, SourceCode has been tasked with building Trailant’s brand recognition, while also developing thought leadership platforms for C-suite executives. For Mathison, a client for more than a year, SourceCode supports brand and executive visibility. “We started working with SourceCode just a few months ago and have been really pleased with the results and working relationship,” said Trailant director of content marketing Carole Walters.
CRC: Cindy Riccio Communications lands US work for HugePOD, a print-on-demand apparel design and manufacturing company. The agency will execute a PR and influencer marketing campaign for the company, which kicks off with HugePOD’s first US press event at fashion trade show MAGIC Las Vegas from Feb. 14-16. “CRC has a longstanding heritage in the apparel category and their demonstrated expertise breaking through to this business sector will be pivotal in growing our business in the US,” said HugePOD chief marketing officer Ying Dai.
The Pollack Group wins ClubCorp Classic, a professional golf competition taking place from April 19-24 in Irving, TX. Working with host organization Mike Flaskey Entertainment, the agency will provide services including content ideation, graphic and video creation, and celebrity and influencer engagement. Pollack will also be on the ground during tournament week to provide real-time social media coverage. The event will feature celebrity players including Alfonso Ribeiro, Roger Clemens and Annika Sorenstam, as well as a field of PGA Tour Champions competitors.
