The Texas Department of Transportation is seeking a PR, marketing and advertising partner to provide litter prevention support programs to help the Lone Star State reach its goals to reduce the amount of trash along its highways and byways.
The firm will promote Governor Greg Abbott’s community achievement awards competition, promote clean-ups and beautification along state-maintained roads, handle youth education efforts and support programming via public information channels, community outreach and grassroots organizations.
The Department wants outreach to diverse audiences and young people between the ages 16 to 24.
The partner will develop newsletters, maintain a website and encourage groups to affiliate with the Keep America Beautiful organization.
The Department plans to issue a one-year contract, which will have three options to renew for additional one-year periods.
