Kraken appoints Mayur Gupta as chief marketing officer. Gupta comes to the company from Gannett, USA Today Network, where he served as chief marketing and strategy officer. He previously held key marketing and growth leadership roles at Freshly, Spotify, Healthgrades, Kimberly-Clark and SapientNitro. At Kraken, Gupta will lead the company’s brand, product and growth marketing efforts. “As a seasoned growth strategist, Mayur brings a data-driven understanding to each stage of the client journey,” said Kraken CEO and Co-founder Jesse Powell. “Mayur’s appointment marks an important milestone in Kraken’s mission to accelerate the global adoption of bitcoin and Web3.”
Capital Square, a national real estate firm specializing in tax-advantaged real estate investments, brings on Jacqueline Rogers as chief communications officer, a newly created role. Rogers joins Capital Square from Amazon Music, where she served as head of brand program management. Before that, she was design operations and program management director at Lyft. She began her career by co-founding the marketing team at Tumblr. At Capital Square, she will oversee branding, marketing, investor relations, communications, strategy and implementation. “She will help take the firm to an even higher level by increasing brand loyalty across the product line for the mutual benefit of investors, broker-dealers, financial advisors and others," said Capital Square founder and CEO Louis Rogers.
Movano hires Tyla Bucher as chief marketing officer. Bucher most recently served as senior vice president, marketing at Hydrow, maker of at-home connected rowers. She was previously vice president, global brand strategy and ecommerce marketing at Hasbro and vp, brand marketing at Twentieth Century Fox. At Movano, Bucher will oversee the company's brand, communication and marketing strategies as well as work cross-functionally to develop partnerships and sales strategies.
