The Democratic operative spent nearly seven years at Kivvit as managing director and GM of its Jersey operation in Asbury Park.
Matos handled labor, healthcare, higher education and coalition management campaigns.
Earlier, she served as staffer for Jersey governors Jim McCreevy, Richard Codey and Jon Corzine. Current governor Phil Murphy appointed Matos chair of the state’s Pinelands Commission.
