Evoke KYNE promotes Maureen Byrne to president. Byrne will take over global leadership responsibilities from David Kyne, who will now oversee development of Evoke’s global communications offering. Byrne, who has been with the firm since 2015, was previously a partner. Before joining Evoke KYNE, she was senior director of global oncology public relations at Novartis. “Having worked alongside Maureen for many years, I know she’ll not only continue to deliver for clients and our people but will take the agency to even greater heights,” said Kyne.

MTV Entertainment ups Michael Fabiani to senior VP of communications. Fabiani previously served as vice president of communications, serving a key role in securing monumental wins and nominations for the group. Prior to joining MTV in 2011 as a senior publicist, Fabiani served as a publicist at Fox. In his new role, he will assume responsibilities for scripted series from Taylor Sheridan, including the forthcoming “Lioness,” “Tulsa King” and “American Tragedies: Waco – The Trials.” “His passion for our content, deep media ties and team-first mentality is a testament to his strong work ethic,” Liza Burnett Fefferman, EVP and head of communications at Paramount Media Networks and MTV Entertainment Studios.
