Current Global promotes Andy Rohr to lead its global technology practice. A long-standing executive vice president at Current Global, Rohr has played a pivotal role in growing the agency’s relationship with its flagship client, Microsoft; expanding its remits in EMEA and China; and landing clients in new markets including India. Before coming to Current, he was global client experience lead for Microsoft at Weber Shandwick and was responsible for establishing the FleishmanHillard BlueCurrent brand in the UK. In his new role, he will focus on strategic practice leadership, growing the firm’s client portfolio, external agency reputation and championing talent development. “His ability to navigate complex issues and translate insight into impactful creative ideas makes him an outstanding partner for his clients,” said Current Global co-CEO George Coleman.
Baretz+Brunelle hires Josh Anisfeld as chief digital officer. Anisfeld joins the firm from executive search firm Heidrick & Struggles, where he was head of digital marketing and originator of its digital marketing function. He was previously a vice president at both Zeno Group and Golin. At Baretz+Brunelle, he will work with law firms and other clients to develop digital marketing campaigns. “Josh understands not only how to introduce professional services firms to the power of digital marketing, but also how to take forward-thinking clients with active digital marketing efforts to another level,” said Baretz+Brunelle co-founder Spencer Baretz.
Banyan, an infrastructure company for item-level receipt data, hires Andrea Gilman as CMO. Gilman joins the company from Mastercard Worldwide where she was SVP and global lead for the company's small & medium enterprise segment. In her new post, she will lead all aspects of Banyan's marketing and communications while partnering with the senior leadership team.
