Navigators Global, a top Republican shop, has signed on to help members of Ukraine’s parliament make their case in Washington.
The job is to educate the Biden administration and Congress about the country’s needs in the wake of Russia’s invasion.
The firm promises a robust public affairs program on behalf of the Ukrainian parliament’s national security, defense and intelligence committee.
Phil Anderson, Navigators president and founding principal, is part of the Ukrainian team. He was an aide to former VP Dan Quayle and Republican National Committee head Lee Atwater.
He is joined by Ryan Berger (policy director for the National Republican Senatorial Committee), Christopher Cox (legislative affairs aide for presidents Donald Trump and George W. Bush) and Doug Distaso (a 25-year Air Force veteran who leads Navigator’s security, defense and space practice).

Excuse my confusion, but, Biden having not only marvelously organized most Nato nations and world sympathy for Ukraine, then moving Congress to send billions and billions of dollars arms and other materials to that gutzy nation, precisely what is Navigators supposedly to do?
What raises even more questions is its attachment to the Republican right wing as if some politicos and military mavens in Ukraine have no problem with Trump's open adoration for Putin, think Republicans will so reap the deals in the midterms it is they with whom Ukraine is placing its bets.....or, and hopefully not, their own political and military boys and girls don't yet appreciate what American taxpayers, led by Joe Biden, have done just so far.
It's hard to believe that our own Secretaries of Defense and State, Speaker of the House and other senior officials having risked travel to Ukraine were not "educated" to all the needs elaborated here.
Something simply does not ring clear here.
