He was previously at BlackRock as managing director – global head of marketing for iShares and CMO for BlackRock’s European business. “Jon has decades of experience in both the tech and finance side of marketing. His track record of driving growth is unparalleled,” said VettaFi CEO Leland Clemons.

KemperLesnik promotes Taryn Parker to VP. Parker joined the agency in February 2020 as a group account director, handling the agency’s sports, golf and resorts clients. Before coming to KemperLesnik, she was an account director at Taylor. In her new position, Parker will leverage her experience in media relations, creative and strategic planning, client management, and event execution to drive results for clients. “From a business perspective, since the lowest point in the pandemic, when many of Taryn’s clients were closed, events did not happen and general PR programs were paused, she has built back her business, added multiple new clients and secured project work from many of her existing clients,” said KempnerLesnik managing director Amy Littleton.

MAD Global Strategy names Jai Chabria to lead its new Columbus, OH office as managing director. Chabria was most recently as JD Vance’s chief strategist in his bid for Ohio’s open U.S. Senate seat. He was previously senior advisor to Ohio governor John Kasich and has served as managing director in Mercury’s Columbus office. “His leadership puts our firm on the map in Ohio,” said MAD Global founder and CEO Michael DuHaime. Taylor Van Kirk, who was a vice president at Mercury as well as press secretary for the Ohio Speaker of the House and the Majority Caucus, also joins MAD Global as VP.
