Pressure on the AG to put out the indictment on Trump based on all the exposures seems so obvious a step. Most putting on all the pressure on Merrick Garland are smart enough to know how the Trumpkins can collect lawyers to tie up cases with legal nonsense interminably.
What he needs to believe is he has a case few lawyers might want to risk their reputations on and who would really pay the massive bills anymore for someone like Trump.
So far, the Democrats working hard to create the case seem less canny from a PR standpoint than the so far suspiciously low keyed Republicans who are massing both threats and the usual fear, smear and slander they are no doubt planning to go with new "street actions". But reality also is he has to take action before we get too close to election dates.
One wonders why no one on the Committee has asked about the $20 million the NRC budgeted to recruit 50,000 poll "watchers" (intimidators) whose mission was to avoid the fraud alleged with the Big Lie. Mainly why is nobody asking where the money went and failed?
