Cornerstone Government Affairs adds Christian Walker to its federal government relations team as a VP. Walker joins Cornerstone from the office of Rep. Ann Kirkpatrick (D-AZ), where he served for more than three years as deputy chief of staff and legislative director. He also served as a senior advisor for a U.S. Senate Campaign, campaign manager for a nationally targeted U.S. House of Representatives race and as the statewide field director for the Arizona Democratic Party. “He brings a broad and diverse background, set of capabilities and relationships as well as an excellent reputation,” said Cornerstone president and managing director Geoff Gonella.

The Peace Corps names Troy Blackwell press director. Blackwell was most recently founder and CEO of Ready for Change, a political action committee dedicated to get-out-the-vote activities. He worked on the Biden-Harris 2020 campaign, served as senior communications advisor at BerlinRosen and has been a board member at PRSA-NY, the Diversity Action Alliance and the Museum of Public Relations. In his new role, Blackwell will be the Peace Corps’ principal point of contact with news media and the public, both domestically and in 64 overseas posts.

Mosaic North America hires Joey Carosella as executive VP of operations. Most recently, Carosella served as EVP, N.A. operations at VMLY&R Commerce. In his new post, he will be responsible for daily operations across production, resource management, production management, legal, risk, procurement and field operations. He will also work to improve procedures and efficiencies. “Among Joey's priorities is building big picture strategies that will lead to long-term organizational growth while at the same time streamlining the day-to-day way we work across the agency,” said Mosaic North America co-managing director Justine Greenwald.
