Allison+Partners promotes Karyn Barr to president, global operations and Jordan Fischler to president, global strategy in its technology group. Barr has headed the agency's San Francisco and D.C. offices and founded its global B2B technology specialty. In her new post, she will drive the day-to-day operation of the technology group, including overseeing its structure and future vision. Fischler has overseen the agency's consumer technology work, focusing on PR strategy and implementation for technology brands. In her new global strategy role, Fischler will focus on identifying the latest trends in technology and will work with the agency's global board to drive technology initiatives throughout the operation. "Technology has stood as a core area of expertise at Allison+Partners," said Allison+Partners co-founder and global CEO Jonathan Heit. "Karyn and Jordan have played a pivotal role in expanding this specialty worldwide."

Genard comes to the company from Old Dominion University.
