MP&F Strategic Communications brings on Kate Sherrard Chinn as a partner. Chinn was most recently vice president and head of community and civic engagement at AllianceBernstein. She was previously senior vice president at the Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce, and senior director of marketing for Tishman Speyer, where she led the brand positioning, marketing, advertising and creative efforts for such brands as Rockefeller Center, the Rainbow Room and Top of the Rock Observation Deck. “Kate has had a significant presence in this community since returning to Nashville in 2015,” said MP&F managing partner Jennifer Brantlet. “She brings close to 20 years of marketing, advertising, creative and community engagement expertise to our team.”

Allen & Gerritsen hires Nina Rossello as senior vice president of strategy and Janet Freed as senior vice president of talent. Rossello comes to the agency from Visit Philadelphia, the city’s official destination marketing organization, where she was vice president of brand strategy. She has also worked at McCann and AKQA. In her new post, she will serve as a brand strategist for a portfolio ranging from 99 Restaurants to Museum of Science, Boston. Freed previously held human resources and talent acquisition roles as 2Life Communities and Harmonix Music Systems. At A&G, she oversees the wellbeing of employees.

thredUP, an online resale platform for women's and kids' apparel, shoes, and accessories, names Noelle Sadler chief marketing officer. Sadler comes to the company from online fashion company Lulus, where she was most recently CMO. She has also served as vice president, global consumer engagement at MAC Cosmetics and was a co-founder of clothing recycling service Retold Recycling. She will report to thredUP president Anthony Marino, who previously oversaw marketing. "Resale is taking hold of the modern shopper, and Noelle's expertise will help enhance the customer experience and in turn fuel growth among young buyers," said Marino.

Schellman, which provides cybersecurity attestation and compliance services, names Craig Kallin chief marketing officer. Kallin most recently served as director, customer transformation at PwC. He has also held executive marketing and strategy positions at Mutual of Omaha, Orbitz and The Walt Disney Company. “His experience with large brands and in smaller entrepreneurial environments gives him a rather unique blend of structure, discipline, a sense of urgency, and the kind of creative problem solving we need to support our aggressive growth agenda,” said Schellman CEO Avani Desai.
