Before that, he was a VP at Development Counsellors International. Verily appoints Alix Hart CMO. Hart was previously head of content and digital strategy at the company. Before coming to Verily in early 2021, she was global head of digital marketing at NVIDIA. She has also held marketing leadership roles in companies across a variety of industry sectors including Symantec, Best Buy and Time Inc., with responsibilities for brand, PR, e-commerce, digital and media. At Verily, Hart will be responsible for all brand, digital and product marketing efforts, and overall marketing operations. “Alix has brought a data-driven, strategic approach to marketing for our core businesses,” said Verily president and COO Stephen Gillett. “Expanding her role to CMO will continue to benefit our portfolio.”

Yext hires former Amazon Web Services head of Americas Marketing Raianne Reiss as CMO. Reiss was most recently at software company Elastic, where she served as vp, marketing. In her new position, she will oversee Yext’s global marketing organization and be responsible for building and strengthening the brand and increasing demand for the company’s solutions globally. “She has deep expertise in our key audience segments and the customer-centric approach that it takes to further enable our customers’ success and bring new users into the Yext community,” said Yext president and COO Marc Ferrentino.
