Page will present its Distinguished Service Award to Museum of Public Relations founder Shelley Spector at its annual conference on September 18 in Chicago. The award recognizes leaders who have strengthened the role of corporate communications and public relations in business and society through service to the profession. "Shelley started the Museum of Public Relations with just a few boxes in her basement, and she's built it into an amazing collection of rare artifacts, oral histories, letters, photos and film," said Maril Gagen MacDonald, founder and CEO of Gagen MacDonald and chair of the Page Honors Committee. The Sept. 18 ceremony will also honor Madan Bahal, co-founder and managing director of Adfactors PR, India's largest public relations firm, who will be inducted into the Page Hall of Fame.

New York Women in Communications is holding its 52nd annual Matrix Awards on Oct. 26 at the Ziegfield Ballroom in New York. This year's award winners include Ogilvy global chief executive officer Devika Bulchandani, "PBS NewsHour" anchor and managing editor Judy Woodruff, American Express CMO Elizabeth Rutledge and Tiffany R. Warren, EVP, chief diversity & inclusion at Sony and founder of ADCOLOR. The ceremony will also recognize NYWICI's 2022 college scholarship recipients. To date, the organization has awarded more than $2 million in scholarships to support young women and their academic and professional pursuits.

The USC Annenberg Center for Public Relations is presenting its third "Lead On! Women in Leadership Forum" on November 10 and 11 at USC. The summit is geared toward mid-career women in PR and communications. Among those scheduled to present at the event are career & dialect coach Samara Bay and Humu head of content & communications Liz Fosslien, along with senior PR leaders from corporations and agencies including Microsoft, Riot Games, Snap, Warner Bros. Discovery, Roc Nation, Amgen, JSA+Partners, Edelman and Golin. There will also be interactive workshops and networking sessions to enhance leadership and communication skills, hone negotiation strategies and build confidence.
