AirHelp

5WPR lands AirHelp, airline passenger rights advocate. It will foster relationships with media across travel, business, lifestyle and regional outlets, as well as inserting thought leadership commentary into larger travel narratives and policy discussions. Focusing on topics including flight disruptions, passenger rights and flight compensation owed, 5W will use AirHelp's proprietary data to cement its position as an industry leader. "Every year, around 10 million passengers are entitled to receive flight disruption compensation, yet 85 percent of all travelers don't know their rights,” said AirHelp senior PR manager Mira Poreba. “There is a lot to do in terms of education and communication, which is why we chose to work with 5WPR.”

Andaz

Zapwater Communications is retained by Hyatt Hotels Corporation to provide public relations and influencer services for Andaz Mexico City Condesa, which is opening later this year. The 213-room property—the first urban, and second Andaz hotel in Mexico—will offer state-of-the-art meeting and event facilities. It will also feature one of the highest outdoor pools in the city, along with a rooftop restaurant. The Mexico City Condesa joins Zapwater’s growing roster of clients in Mexico, including luxury properties and destinations.

Black Tomato

Rachel Harrison Communications to rep Black Tomato and Nomad London’s dining outlets. For Black Tomato, a luxury travel company that provides “imaginative and remarkable travel experiences,” RHC will work in tandem with the brand’s in-house team to support all US public relations efforts. The agency will work with NoMad London, located in Covent Garden, opposite London’s Royal Opera House, to promote its NoMad Restaurant and Atrium Bar, The Library, Side Hustle, and the soon-to-be-launched Common Decency.

Livermore

143 Communications promotes Livermore Valley Winegrowers Association. The agency is executing a local, regional and national media relations strategy to grow awareness around the area. One of the oldest wine-growing regions in the United States, Livermore Valley Wine Country, which is 35 miles east of San Francisco, has 44 wineries. "We felt that 143 Communications’ extensive experience in both food and beverage, as well as travel, would translate extremely well to achieve the media results, both regionally and nationally, that we want for our wine region," said Brandi Lombardi, interim executive director for the Livermore Valley Winegrowers Association.
