Trilligent, a virtual boutique agency that is a sister company of APCO Worldwide, is launching via an invitation-only virtual event on Oct. 20. Later this fall, the agency will launch its virtual headquarters in Meta’s Horizon Worlds. Mike Worldwide launches its third annual application for two small diverse-owned businesses to receive pro bono public relations support. The program requires eligible applicants to identify with a historically marginalized group (with an emphasis on women and communities of color); generate less than $5 million in annual revenue; and demonstrate support of a social cause through their business, a new criterion for this year's program. The selected businesses will enter a six-month engagement with the agency that starts at the at the beginning of 2023. Applications will be open until Nov. 11 at 11:59 pm ET. Additionally, the agency has formally rebranded its diversity, equity, inclusion, and justice (DEIJ) communications practice as MWW Culture Connect. “We were also purposeful about adding ‘J’ for justice to our practice rebrand because much of our work involves helping companies communicate around how they ensure the fair distribution of opportunities and access in the systems they can control," said MikeWorldWide head of DEIG Amber Micala Arnold.

George P. Johnson opens an office in Dubai, the agency’s first office in the Middle East. Located in Dubai’s Media City district, the new team will be led by GPJ vice president client services Dirk Paetzold, guiding the global event management work for clients including IBM, Kyndryl, DP World, Nissan, Infiniti and Stellantis. Petzold is assembling a team of creatives, producers and account professionals for the launch.
