The NYU McSilver Institute for Poverty Policy and Research brings on SKDK VP Olivia Lapeyrolerie as CCO. At SKDK, Lapeyrolerie advised many of the firms’ major nonprofit and advocacy clients. Prior to joining SKDK, she was first deputy press secretary for the NYC Mayor’s Office, where she served as an on-the-record spokesperson for Mayor de Blasio and co-led the administration’s media relations. She also briefly advised on de Blasio’s 2020 presidential campaign. In her new position, Lapeyrolerie will be a member of the Institute’s new senior leadership team working to advance the organization’s mission to disrupt poverty. “Her intellect, commitment to public service, and experience navigating the toughest media market in the country make her a once-in-a-generation talent,” said Rosemonde Pierre-Louis, executive director of the McSilver Institute.

Kingsley Gate Partners, a private-equity backed executive search firm, hires Aaron Mitchell Finegold as CMO. Finegold was previously at LinkedIn, where he served as global head of marketing & communications business operations. He has also been an associate partner in McKinsey & Company's marketing and sales practice and a marketing strategy sonsultant at Ogilvy & Mather. At Kingsley Gate, he will oversee the firm’s full-funnel marketing strategy, external communications, and investment in business-critical capabilities such as experimentation, marketing automation and measurement. “We needed a next-generation CMO to tell the world our story. Aaron fits that bill to a T,” said Kingsley Gate Partners CEO Umesh Ramakrishnan.

BAE Systems promotes Caitlin Hayden to group communications director, to lead global communications for the aerospace, defense and security firm, effective Nov. 1. Hayden most recently served as SVP of communications for the company’s US entity, BAE Systems, Inc. She previously was vice president of communications at the Aerospace Industries Association and has also been EVP and media group director in Edelman’s Washington, D.C. office. “Her extensive experience across government, industry and international affairs will be invaluable as we share the stories of our amazing people, products, and capabilities with our key stakeholders,” said BAE Systems group chief executive Charles Woodburn.

Purple Innovation, which sells what it calls the "World's First No Pressure Mattress," names Keira Krausz CMO. Krausz comes to the company from digital health distribution platform HealthPlanOne, where she also served as CMO. Before that, she was CMO at Nutrisystem, where her responsibilities included retail, omni-channel DTC marketing, creative, site and app development, sales and customer care. Krausz will report to Purple CEO Rob DeMartini and oversee all aspects of the company's marketing efforts, playing a key role in supporting Purple's future growth plans. "As we continue to mature our marketing efforts, Keira will provide significant experience in advancing our marketing strategies to grow our revenue and profitability," said DeMartini.
