ÜberStrategist, which serves video game, entertainment and technology clients, acquires Raleigh-based content marketing agency VirTasktic. The integrated company will operate under the ÜberStrategist brand. VirTasktic CEO Carolyn Crummey has been appointed as ÜberStrategist’s chief marketing officer and VirTasktic director of client services Kimberley Massi becomes ÜberStrategist’s director of operations. “VirTasktic is a passionate and highly creative expert in content and email marketing, services that many of our clients have expressed an interest in,” said ÜberStrategist founder and president Mario R. Kroll. “Acquiring their staff and client roster bolsters our revenue and adds a tremendous depth of knowledge and operational excellence to our newly combined team.”

Seven Letter launches a new podcast that will look at the policy priorities and political dynamics that will define Congress following the 2022 midterm elections. “CONTROL,” hosted by Seven Letter partner Brendan Buck and senior director Annalyse Keller, will have regular episodes in the weeks following the election and into the new Congress in January. It is available on all major podcast platforms. The podcast’s first episode features a conversation with former Speaker of the House Paul Ryan, who discusses topics including the recent attack on Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s husband Paul Pelosi and the potential for overreach when conducting congressional oversight.
