Inkhouse promotes Dan O’Mahony to managing director, Inkhouse West and Ed Harrison to managing director, Inkhouse East. O’Mahony joined Inkhouse in 2014 as a vice president in the firm’s San Francisco office before becoming general manager, California. In his new role, he will manage Inkhouse’s expansion into new geographies in the western United States. Harrison was most recently general manager, New England at the agency. He will now oversee Inkhouse’s expansion into tech hubs such as Raleigh/Durham, Miami, Atlanta, Washington D.C. and Nashville. Inkhouse has also promoted Anne Baker to general manager, California; Samantha McGarry to executive vice president of story crafting; and Lisa van der Pool to executive vice president of media strategy.

McCann Worldgroup brings on Anaka Kobzev as global chief communications officer, effective January. Kobzev is currently global head of communications at TBWAWorldwide. Before that she served as director of communications at JWT and she was previously VP, communications director at McCann Worldgroup San Francisco. At McCannWorldgroup, Kobzev will oversee global communications, as well as reputation management, social presence, and employee communications. “Having worked for powerhouse agencies like TBWA and Initiative, she understands the full breadth of creativity and how it can manifest in the 21st century,” said McCann Worldgroup CEO Daryl Lee.

Jo Communications promotes Mary Mullen to vice president. Mullen has been with the agency since 2015, most recently serving as director of brand communications. She will be moving from the agency’s Chicago headquarters to Florida, where she will working to identify and cultivate strategic partnerships in the design space. The move is part of the firm’s plans for continued development and expansion in 2023. “Mary’s well-honed insights, talents and strategic expertise have helped to elevate Jo’s presence as a leading communications firm in the A+D industry,” said Jo Communications founder and CEO Mary Jo Fasan.
