Michael Dupee has joined Summit Strategy Group, the Sacramento-based public policy, corporate reputation and ESG shop, as a senior advisor.

Based in Bennington, VT, Dupee has an extensive background in sustainability issues as well as food, agriculture and responsible sourcing.

During his more than 25-year career, Dupee did a nine-year stint as VP-corporate social responsibility at Green Mountain Roasters, which was acquired by Keurig.

He then served as VP-sustainable innovation at Keurig Green Mountain.

Since 2016, Dupee has taught Business Strategy for a Sustainable World at the University of Vermont’s Grossman School of Business, which offers a top Green MBA program.

Early in his career, he had a four-year run as VP at Goldman Sachs.

Summit CEO Michael Law said Dupee has the depth of academic and business experience that is needed to guide clients through the complexity of today’s ESG environment.

“The shifting political climate surrounding corporate ESG performance creates opportunities and risks that Michael is well equipped to help clients navigate,” added Law, who was Burson-Marsteller US CEO before launching Summit.
