Prosek Partners promotes Nadia Damouni to partner. Damouni has been with the firm since 2017, most recently serving as a managing director. She has represented clients in M&A transactions and leads a numer of high-profile equity engagement for the firm. Before coming to Prosek, Damouni was a senior vp in Edelman’s financial communications and capital markets division. She has also worked as a journalist, including a stint at Thomson Reuters as corporate board correspondent and team leader for M&A. “Nadia’s client counsel at the board and CEO levels is exceptional,” said Prosek Partners founder and managing partner Jen Prosek. “Her journalist background and network have been instrumental in building our strategic media relations and special situations capabilities.”

Lewis was VP of government and community partnerships for Habitat for Humanity in New York City and Westchester County. He will manage and advance client priorities for Cozen O’Connor in Albany and NYC. “Katrell’s background as a nonprofit leader also makes him uniquely qualified to support and advise our many nonprofit clients,” said Cozen O’Connor Public Strategies New York co-chair Rose Christ. “He’s proven that he knows how to navigate through the budget and regulatory challenges and get important projects across the finish line.”

Marketing Maven promotes Frank Tortorici to VP, media relations. Tortorici has been with the agency since 2015, previously serving as director of media relations. Before coming to Marketing Maven, he was a director at Steinreich Communications, director of public and media relations at The Conference Board and senior account supervisor at Edelman. In his new position, Tortorici will continue to lead and enhance Marketing Maven’s relationships with top tier media, working from the agency’s East Coast office. He will also work more closely with Marketing Maven’s data research and marketing departments, contribute to the firm’s business development initiatives, and mentor junior staffers. “His media knowledge has informed our management team and enables us to compete aggressively for top-tier accounts,” said Marketing Maven president and CEO Lindsay Carnett.
