The Ehrhardt Group opens a second Louisiana office in Baton Rouge, the company’s first outside of New Orleans. The agency says the new office will expand its capabilities to offer public relations, issues management and marketing services to its growing portfolio of. Located at One American Place in downtown Baton Rouge, it is near the Capitol and many of TEG’s current clients in the region. “We’ve had a concentration of work in Baton Rouge and the Capital region for more than 25 years,” said TEG president Marc Ehrhardt. “This new office was a logical next step for TEG and will allow us to continue those efforts in a more immediate and expansive manner.”

Hoffman

The Hoffman Agency HBCU Scholarship is accepting applications from California community college students who want to continue their education at an HBCU (Historically Black Colleges and Universities). The scholarship will cover tuition and fees for the recipient’s junior and senior years. “This is an untapped talent pool for the communications industry,” said The Hoffman Agency co-founder Lou Hoffman. “We’re striving to use the scholarship as a platform to advocate and educate for what awaits those who pursue a career in communications.” Interested students can upload their application at The Hoffman Agency | HBCU Scholarship.

Marino

Marino, which has offices in New York and Los Angeles, is marking its 30th anniversary with a year-long series of celebratory activities and special programming. The agency is organizing a series of events and initiatives that is set to include an all-staff day of service, acknowledgements and recognitions, retrospective rollouts, a commemorative logo and swag, and other activities. Marino was founded in 1993 by CEO Frank C. Marino, who had served in the administration of New York City Mayor Ed Koch as senior vp for public affairs, media relations and marketing with the agency now known as the New York City Economic Development Corporation. The agency has expanded its offerings in recent years to include branding, creative, advertising, e-commerce marketing and full-scale production.

RAchel Harrison

Rachel Harrison Communications opens RHC UK, a London outpost of the firm. Agency founder Rachel Harrison will lead RHC UK along with managing partner Lauren Webster, previously co-founder and director of Ninth House. Robyn Percy, formerly client director at Hue & Cry, will serve as PR director. RHC UK will offer such communication services as social media and wider digital marketing management, content marketing, digital advertising and creative production. “London has one of the most exciting hospitality scenes in the world and it’s a natural step for RHC to launch here,” said Webster.
