BAE Systems, Inc. names Intel alum Lisa Malloy as SVP for communications. Malloy joins the company from Intel Corporation where she most recently served as head of global government and manufacturing communications. Prior to that, she led Intel’s US government affairs and policy communications. In her new post, Malloy will serve on BAE’s senior leadership, as well as leading all facets of the company’s external and internal communications, and community investment activities. “Her work in technology and manufacturing, as well as public and government policy, will help to drive the company’s narrative around our people, technology and products, to our global audiences,” said BAE president and CEO Tom Arseneault.

Infinite Global appoints Zinie Chen Sampson as a VP, based in DC and Richmond. Sampson most recently served as senior managing director at Baretz+Brunelle. She has led media relations, editorial content planning and creation, awards submissions, and other PR initiatives on behalf of Am Law 100 and midsize firms, as well as companies in the consulting, healthcare, and legal technology sectors. Previously, she was a reporter and editor at Associated Press for over a decade. As a member of Infinite Global’s senior team, Sampson will lead client accounts, handle high-level media relations, support litigation and crisis PR efforts, and mentor and develop colleagues. “Zinie’s thoughtful and thorough approach helps organizations achieve their business and strategic goals and provides the foundation for her strong relationships with clients and colleagues,” said Infinite Global CEO Jamie Diaferia.

NotCo, a company that employs AI to develop plant-based versions of milk, chicken and beef, hires Fernando Machado as CMO, effective in April. Machado currently serves as CMO at interactive entertainment and gaming company Activision Blizzard. He previously led marketing efforts for Restaurant Brands International, overseeing work for Burger King, Popeyes and Tim Hortons. Before that he worked for 18 years at Unilever, in a range of executive brand development positions. “Fernando’s pedigree speaks for itself, and we’re thrilled to welcome him to our leadership team,” said NotCo co-founder and CEO Matias Muchnick. “We’re confident that his ingenuity and passion for our mission will help accelerate our journey.”
