Edelman Global Advisory has acquired Landmark Public Affairs, which has offices in New York, London, Brussels and Singapore.

Founded in 2007, Landmark has represented blue-chip clients such as Kellogg’s, Danone, Mars, Syngenta, Royal Caribbean Cruises and 3M.

Richard Edelman said the deal deepens EGA’s regulatory, policy and advisory capabilities in Europe and Asia.

Rocco Renaldi, Landmark’s founding partner & managing director, will chair EGA Europe and become global chair of food & beverage policy.

He said the partnership with EGA will “enhance our work with clients, bringing them expanded offerings, broader networks of regional and global expertise, and greater success."

EGA’s Feargal Purcell and Landmark’s David Bates will serve as co-vice chairmen, EGA Europe, and Amaia Betelu will be acting president of EGA Brussels.

Singapore-based Richard Andrew, Landmark’s managing director for Asia, will serve as EGA co-chair of Asia Pacific. He will work closely with Gracie Sun, EGA’S co-chair/Asia-Pacific, and Ian McCabe, executive chair for Asia.

Julien Lafleur, managing director of North America at Landmark, will serve as EGA New York managing director and focus on boosting global stakeholder engagement.

EGA CEO Deborah Lehr said the Landmark deal "supports the goal of becoming one of the most respected consulting firms in the world.”
