Stuart Hudson will rejoin Brunswick Group as a partner in London on March 27.
He had been working for the UK Competition and Markets Authority, where he was senior director of strategy focused on antitrust, regulatory matters and public policy issues.
Hudson was a special adviser to UK prime minister Gordon Brown during the financial meltdown and prior to that he was head of government affairs at the UK’s energy regulator, Ofgem.
He worked at Brunswick in London from 2010 to 2019, advising clients on transactions and regulatory matters in Europe, Asia and North America.
