Global Situation Room hires RJ Bee as director of operations. Bee comes to the agency from Hattaway Communications, where he was senior VP of operations, working with such clients as the Ford Foundation, Rockefeller Foundation and USAID. He has also served as CEO of podcast company Osiris Media and has worked for Blanc & Otis and Schwarz Communications. Bee will be based in GSR’s Alexandria, VA headquarters. “RJ brings a wealth of experience in scaling agencies and delivering world-class content,” said GSR’s President Brett Bruen. “This background was a perfect match for us at this moment.”

Redwood Logistics, a supply chain orchestration and logistics execution company, brings on Arlyn Knox as its first chief marketing officer. Prior to joining Redwood, Knox was SVP of Global Marketing at Blue Yonder. She has also held marketing positions at such SaaS-based companies as Deltek and Cvent and more. In her new post, Knox will be responsible for creating and executing Redwood’s vision and strategy to drive go-to-market efforts with a focus on ROI, including account-based marketing, demand generation, business development, digital strategy, creative, events, social, communications, brand and content. “As we launch new products that help our customers overcome disruption and build agile supply chains, her knowledge of supply chain technology and logistics execution will be instrumental in sharing our message with target audiences and further accelerating our growth,” said Redwood CEO Mark Yeager.
