Blumhouse, a film and television production company, brings on Christina Gizoni as VP, marketing and communications. Gizoni joins the company from the film publicity department at Netflix, where she worked on campaigns for such films as Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery, Blonde and The Ballad of Buster Scruggs. Previously, she served as coordinator of national film publicity for Sony Pictures Entertainment and publicity and promotions coordinator at Allied Integrated Marketing. In her new position, Gizoni will support Blumhouse’s theatrical film titles as well as its overall brand. “Her intelligence, deep experience and creative point of view will be huge assets to the company as we build our games business, and continue to grow our film slate and brand,” CMO Karen Barragan told Deadline.

Lot Sixteen, a D.C.-based firm, hires Nasim Fussell as senior VP and head of its newly formed trade practice. Fussell was most recently a partner at legal firm Holland & Knight, where she represented corporate, trade association and government clients on trade policy and regulatory issues across the spectrum. She was previously Republican chief international trade counsel on the Senate Finance Committee and trade counsel on the House Ways and Means Committee, and served as director of government and regulatory affairs at Pitney Bowes.

Kari Tarnowski |
Life at Sea Cruises, a company that takes passengers on three-year cruises, names Kari Tarnowski as CMO. Tarnowski was previously SVP marketing & sales at American Queen Voyages, overseeing the rebranding of the company in September 2021. She has also held senior marketing roles at Crystal Cruises, Regent Seven Seas Cruises, Sandals & Beaches Resorts and Silversea Cruises, and was part of the launch team for Hotels.com in 2002. In her new position, Tarnowski will oversee the development and implementation of Life at Sea Cruises’ multi-channel marketing plan, which will include generating demand, the brand's positioning, building customer loyalty and retention and establishing partnerships. “Kari's extensive experience in the cruise industry and her background in luxury brands make her the perfect fit for Life at Sea Cruises,” said Life at Sea Cruises managing director Mike Petterson.
