Eurasia Group, a political risk research and consulting firm, names Vanessa Sussman chief marketing and communications officer. Sussman most recently led private markets corporate communications at Nuveen. She was previously VP of marketing and communications at Morningstar and ran V dot Consulting, her own boutique communications firm specializing in media relations with a focus on exchange-traded funds. In her new role, Sussman will lead marketing and internal and external communications for Eurasia Group and its subsidiary GZERO Media. She will also work to engage and deepen the partnerships with the chief communications and marketing officers of Eurasia Group's largest clients. "Vanessa brings a dynamism and fresh perspective to the team, along with her many years of experience and deep interest in geopolitics," said Eurasia Group CEO Maziar Minovi.

Veros Real Estate Solutions, which provides enterprise risk management and property valuation services, hires Heather Zeller as VP of marketing. Zeller joins the company from Clear Capital, where she was product marketing director. She has also held senior marketing posts at Renew Financial and Liberty Reverse Mortgage. In her new role, Zeller will lead the Veros’ marketing and communications teams to position it, as well as its sister company Valligent, as thought leaders and go-to resources for property valuations, risk management solutions, and housing industry data and forecasts. “With her impressive experience and professional expertise in our industry, Heather will truly be an asset to the Veros and Valligent teams,” said Veros CEO Darius Bozorgi.

Sephora U.S. appoints former PepsiCo senior VP, carbonated soft drinks Zena Srivatsa Arnold as chief marketing officer, effective early this summer. Srivatsa Arnold replaces former CMO Deborah Yeh, who transitioned solely to global chief purpose officer in January after holding both roles for just over a year. Before joining PepsiCo, Srivatsa Arnold was chief digital and marketing officer at Kimberly-Clark and global head of growth for Google’s ChromeOS division.
