Allied Global Marketing names Denise Parkinson as VP of business development. Based in London, Parkinson is responsible for identifying and driving strategic new business to support the company’s continued growth. Parkinson most recently served as global entertainment director overseeing business development for OneFootball, a media platform with more than 85 million active users, establishing partnerships with such companies as Netflix, Disney, Universal and StarzTV, among others. Prior to that she was head of entertainment category specialist for TI Media and entertainment director of Global and UK for The Telegraph. “The breadth and depth of her knowledge and relationships make her a perfect fit for our company,” said Allied Global Marketing CEO Clint Kendall. “She is a true gem in the entertainment industry, and I am confident she will be able to drive results across all our regions and solutions, including paid, earned, owned, creative and strategy.”

Info-Tech Research Group, a global IT research and advisory firm, signs on BDO Canada chief marketing officer Neil Shankman as CMO. Before coming to BDO in 2018, Shankman was senior VP sales and marketing at fintech company Wave HQ. He previously held executive marketing positions at Google and Clio. "To continue offering our members world-class service and support, we sought a seasoned, passionate executive who thinks outside the box and can develop and manage that success with a future-focused approach,” said Info-Tech CEO David Godfrey. “Neil Shankman is that leader." Smith joins the company from publisher William H. Sadler Inc., where she served as senior VP for marketing.
