Prosper Marketplace, a peer-to-peer lending platform, hires Melinda Marchesi, who has held several senior marketing posts at JPMorgan Chase, as CMO. Marchesi most recently served as chief operating officer at Momentum Financial Services Group. At JPMorgan Chase she was CMO for both the auto finance and home lending businesses. Before that, Marchesi was global digital marketing director at Towers Watson. “Melinda’s modern marketing mindset, her proven ability to build brands, and her experience developing winning omni-channel marketing strategies will be invaluable benefits as Prosper continues to scale existing offerings and looks for new opportunities to support investors and borrowers on their financial journey,” said Prosper Marketplace CEO Davd Kimball.
