JAGGAER, which provides “autonomous commerce” (i.e., intelligent procurement solutions) services, appoints Eva Skidmore as CMO. Skidmore comes to the company from Salesforce, where she most recently served as CMO public sector and VP of field marketing for public sector, education and non-profit. Prior to her time at Salesforce, she held marketing and channel roles at Socrata, Oracle (RightNow) and Microsoft. In her new post, Skidmore will oversee JAGGAER’s global marketing organization and focus on driving customer demand. “Her track record of shaping and driving growth-oriented marketing strategies while building and retaining high-performing teams will be invaluable as we expand JAGGAER’s leadership position in the procurement software market,” said JAGGAER CEO Andy Hovancik.

OverDrive, a digital book and media supplier to libraries and schools worldwide, names Jennifer Leitman as its first CMO. Leitman most recently served as SVP of marketing at Preserve Partners, leading brand development and marketing for their new outdoor hospitality brand. She was previously EVP, marketing at The Family Coppola global lifestyle company and before that she was at Discovery for over a decade, working with its Great American Country, HGTV and DIY Network brands. In her new position, Leitman will work to unify marketing efforts across the company, raising brand awareness and engagement for the company's platforms and apps, including OverDrive Marketplace, Libby, Sora, Kanopy and TeachingBooks. "Her record of accomplishment in attracting and engaging with audiences of all ages perfectly aligns with the mission of our institutional partners," said OverDrive founder and CEO Steve Potash.

Douglas Wilson Companies, which offers specialized business, receivership and real estate services, hires Stephen Walton as CMO and vice president. Walton previously served as regional head of marketing at Polsinelli, a law firm with 22 offices nationwide. He has also held senior positions at companies including AstraZeneca, Pfizer and Bank of America. At DWC, Walton is responsible for designing and leading the organization’s corporate brand marketing and reputation as well as community engagement, media relations, and business development. “Steve’s impressive track record in marketing and new business development across major business sectors will enable DWC to continue on the company’s growth trajectory,” said DWC chief executive officer and chairman Douglas Wilson.
