The Los Angeles Dodgers have appointed Jon Weisman as VP, communications, effective Sept. 1. From 2013-17, Weisman was director, digital and print content for the organization. He most recently served as VP, corporate public relations for Showtime Networks. He was also a senior editor at Variety and a senior writer/editor at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, where he was senior writer/editor. In his new post, Weisman will drive external and internal communications strategies for all aspects of the organization, including consumer and fan-facing opportunities. He will also oversee strategic planning and the daily operation of the Dodgers’ communications department in its work with the media and partners in and around baseball.

Cayla Kondo |
C&R, which represents clients in the hospitality, real estate and golf sectors throughout the U.S., Mexico and Caribbean, names Cayla Kondo vice president, real estate. Kondo was most recently CMO at vertically integrated real estate corporation Concord Companies, and she previously served as senior director of marketing at Caruso. At C&R, Kondo will work to invigorate the firm's offerings and drive its growth trajectory goals. "It was important that the person we hired for this role brought a new perspective, a curated network and a deep understanding of the luxury real estate consumer to our agency,” said said C&R co-founder Spencer Castillo. “We are confident we found that in Cayla."

Mary Williams |
LeadingResponse, a performance marketer for the financial, legal, health and aging markets, brings on Mary Williams as EVP of consumer marketing. Williams was most recently head of creator marketing at influencer platform LTK. Before that, she was CMO for the legal business at Thomson Reuters. Her new role at LeadingResponse centralizes the company’s online consumer marketing across all business units. The company has also promoted Jennifer DeBuhr to vice president of sales. “Mary’s decision to join our company speaks volumes about our mission, values, and culture that we foster within the organization. Promoting Jen to lead our new Health & Aging division represents an investment in new markets and reinforces LeadingResponse’s mission,” said LeadingResponse CEO Matthew Kearney.
