Sonos, which produces wireless home sound systems, hires Deirdre Findlay, who was most recently global chief marketing officer at McAfee, as chief commercial officer. Findlay has been on the Sonos board of directors since 2020. In her new post, she will oversee all go-to-market and customer experience functions. Before joining McAfee, Findlay was global CMO and head of consumer revenue at Condé Nast. She has also held executive posts at Stitch Fix, Google, eBay and Digitas. “The consistent thread throughout Deirdre’s career has been driving growth for consumer companies by aligning product stories with cultural trends,” according to a statement from the company.

Timberland brings on Maisie Willoughby as CMO, effective Oct. 16. Willoughby was most recently chief brand marketing officer at Alexander Wang. She has also served as head of production at Cult LDN and a producer at Wieden + Kennedy. At Timberland, Willoughby will be tasked with driving the company’s global brand strategy and positioning it for sustainable, long-term growth. “Willoughby will play a critical role in helping to shape the next chapter of Timberland,” said Timberland global brand president Susie Mulder.

Adams was most recently VP of marketing at Mister Car Wash, which has over 450 locations. She has also served as senior VP of marketing at QDOBA® Mexican Eats, and held a range of executive marketing posts at Jack in the Box. In her new role, Adams will oversee all marketing and brand strategy functions, including menu and new product development, advertising and public relations, digital and social media and consumer engagement. “She’s a strong and engaging leader with a proven track record leading brand strategy and marketing communications to drive growth and profitability,” said El Pollo Loco CEO Larry Roberts.
