Texas A&M University names Ethan Braden as VP and chief marketing and communications officer. Braden comes to Texas A&M from Purdue University, where he most recently served as EVP, as well as chief marketing and communications officer for both Purdue and its online university for working adults, Purdue Global. Before that, he was at Eli Lilly for over a decade in a range of leadership positions. In an email sent to students, faculty and staff, Texas A&M interim president Mark Welsh said that “Ethan will leverage his skills and extensive experience to amplify the university’s national prominence.”

TravelBoom, a data-driven digital marketing agency for hotels, resorts, and vacation rental companies, promotes Alyssa Foriska to director of marketing. Foriska has been with the agency since 2014 (when it was known as Fuel Travel). She was previously promoted to senior management, playing an integral role in client relations, daily management of marketing strategies, website development and analytics. She will now head TravelBoom’s marketing services department. “She understands the needs and objectives of each of our clients, and I know this will serve her well as she moves into the marketing department,” said Travel Boom COO Pete DiMaio.

Kimble was most recently SVP, business & brand leadership at Periscope, where he led business and brand strategy for clients including Essentia, Intuit Quickbooks, Minnesota Lottery, Phillips Distilling, Toro and UnitedHealthcare. He has also held senior positions at Ogilvy & Mather, Deutsch and Fallon.
