TD Bank names Suzanne Alexander SVP, head of corporate and executive communications, a newly created role. Alexander was most recently VP corporate communications at Nielsen, serving as chief speechwriter for the company’s chairman and CEO. Before that she was VP corporate and executive communications at Marriott International. At TD Bank, Alexander will lead communications strategy and delivery for the office of the CEO and the bank’s corporate and control functions. “Suzanne is an exceptional communications leader and an award-winning journalist with a proven track record of delivering impactful communications and business-driving results,” said TD Bank chief communications officer John Pluhowski.

Earnest, a fintech company that is a subsidiary of student loan servicer Navient Corporation, appoints Shanee Ben-Zur as CMO. Ben-Zur most recently served as chief growth and chief marketing officer for Crunchbase. She previously held senior marketing and growth positions at such major tech brands as Dropbox, Salesforce and NVIDIA. In addition to her full-time work, Ben-Zur serves as a marketing and growth advisor to early-stage startups trying to break into the tech ecosystem. At Earnest, Ben-Zur will support initiatives to drive greater visibility of the company’s student loan origination and refinance products.
