Ultra-Intelligence & Communications, which serves the defense and space sectors, names Amanda Rudolph as VP of marketing and communications. Rudolph was most recently director of marketing communications at BAE Systems. Before that, she managed branding, advertising and international communications at Raytheon Missile Systems. In her new role, Rudolph will oversee Ultra I&C’s marketing communications strategy, including brand messaging, content development, digital marketing and public relations. “Amanda’s expertise and vision will undoubtedly elevate our brand’s presence and drive our communication efforts to new heights,” said Ultra I&C chief growth officer Chris Bishop.

Sportradar, a sports technology company that creates immersive experiences for sports fans, brings on Jim Bombassei as president, investor relations and corporate finance. Bombassei was most recently CFO of SciPlay Corporation, a cross platform global games company, where he oversaw accounting, financial reporting and FP&A in addition to investor relations. He previously Viacom’s corporate finance and investor relations activities. At Sportradar, Bombassei will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with the global investment community, and communicating the company’s business model, long-term strategy and financial performance. “He is a talented and respected finance executive, with a wealth of investor relations experience and a track record of success,” said Sportrader CFO Gerard Grifin.

Merrell, a hiking and outdoor footwear brand, appoints Pallav Tamaskar as CMO. Tamaskar joins the company from consumer lifestyle brands group THG, where he served as North America EVP and managing director for sports nutrition brand Myprotein. He was previously head of brand strategy at ESPN, and held brand management positions at PepsiCo, Kraft Foods and Procter & Gamble. At Merrell, Tamaskar will be responsible for leading the compan’s global marketing strategy, directing the creation of global integrated marketing campaigns, elevating full-funnel media planning, and driving cultural relevance through product collaborations and brand-purpose programming. "Pallav is an innovative leader and talent builder, with a strong track record of growing global brands and pioneering digital marketing strategies to accelerate consumer demand creation," said Merrell global brand president Janice Tennant.
