Pescetto most recently served as VP of global marketing at advertising and media software company Telmar. where she led the global marketing team following its acquisition of Helixa. She has also held marketing management roles at Innovid, Unacast, AudienceScience and Moat. In her new post, Pescetto will work to drive AdImpact’s go-to-market strategy and enhance industry visibility. “Our growth trajectory in 2023 and continued investment reflects an industry need for near real-time datasets that shine a light on the performance of television ads,” said Kyle Roberts, CEO of AdImpact. “Adding Laia to our team will help us meet these goals.”

WastAway, a green tech company that converts municipal solid waste to fuel, names Todd Smith as chief communications officer. Smith joins the company from Nashville-based agency Deane | Smith, where he served as co-founder, president and CEO. He was previously director of corporate communications at global direct marketer Affinion Group, and has served as a staff writer for The Washington Times and speechwriter for the George H.W. Bush presidential campaign. In his new role, Smith will lead overall branding, PR and marketing for WastAway. “We needed a branding, PR and marketing expert on our executive team to lead the charge,” said WastAway CEO Mark Brown. “We are thrilled to have Todd on board to help us build our promising future.”

State Department Federal Credit Union, which has nearly 90,000 members and $2.8 billion in assets, hires Marella Nardotti as CMO. Nardotti joins the Old Town Alexandria, VA-headquartered organization from NextMark Credit Union, where she also served as CMO. In her new role, she will be responsible for overseeing comprehensive marketing, communications, and member development strategies. "With her history of achievements and passion for results, she will undoubtedly contribute to our growth and experience initiatives with creativity, strategic vision and dedication,” said SDFCU chief experience officer Rachel Rust.
