BCW and Hill & Knowlton, which will merge as of July 1 to form Burson, have named Chad Latz, Grant Toups and Chris Kief to leadership positions within the new unit. Latz, who is currently global chief innovation officer with BCW, will retain that title with Burson. He will be responsible for leading Burson’s ongoing innovation efforts and product development with a focus on AI-first solutions. Toups, currently global chief technology officer at Hill & Knowlton, will be Burson’s global chief digital and intelligence officer, guiding a global team deploying a suite of offerings including digital/social communications, reputation enhancement and defense, technology/AI advisory and advanced intelligence solutions. Kief, who is global chief technology officer at BCW, keeps that post at Burson, leading the unit’s enterprise technology strategy. “We are committed to using AI and other emerging technologies to define and deliver the most innovative communication solutions in the industry to solve our clients’ greatest challenges,” BCW global CEO Corey duBrowa said. “This is the right team to lead this approach, which is core to our principle of reputation as the differentiating characteristic for our clients in the marketplace.”

LIV Golf brings on former PepsiCo SVP media, sports & entertainment Adam Harter as CMO. Harter has more than 22 years of experience at PepsiCo, having also served in senior positions across brand management, innovation, consumer promotions, strategy, media and entertainment. At LIV Golf, Harter will lead all marketing activities, including developing the league and team brands, growing the size and engagement of the global fan base, delivering marketing initiatives for LIV Golf and The International Series, and promoting partnerships, reporting to commissioner and CEO Greg Norman. “Adam brings a unique, world-class set of skills and experience that will bolster LIV Golf’s ongoing work and create incredible new opportunities to develop our league and team brands,” said Norman.

GuidePoint Security, a cybersecurity solutions company, hires Rachel Haag as CMO. Haag joins the company from enterprise automation platform Workato, where she developed the company’s global marketing function. She previously served as head of marketing at Uber Freight and held senior marketing posts as Cisco Cloud Security, Symantec and CDW. In her new post, Haag will oversee GuidePoint’s marketing organization, leveraging her experience in partner management and go-to-market strategies. “Her strategic vision and dynamic leadership will play an invaluable role in helping us achieve the next phase of our business,” said GuidePoint Security chairman and CEO Michael Volk.
