Sawyer was previously president and COO at closerlook inc., a digital marketing agency serving the pharmaceutical commercialization sector. After closerlook was acquired by Fishawack Health (now Avalere Health), he served as Fishawack’s COO for US Commercial. At CG Life, Sawyer will manage the agency’s operations as it partners with established and emerging organizations. “I know Jon well and have worked alongside him professionally for more than 20 years.,” said CG Life CEO David Ormesher, who was founder and CEO at closerlook. “His approachable, authentic and pragmatic leadership will add tremendous value to our team as we continue to grow with purpose.”

Kiterocket brings on Jessica Fishman as director of its renewable energy practice. Fishman was previously senior director of marketing and communications at sustainable energy company Powur, PBC. She has also held senior marketing and PR positions at AlsoEnergy, SolarEdge and Conergy. She began her career with the Israel Defense Forces, rising to the captain spot in the spokespersons unit. At Kiterocket, Fishman will work to advance the brands in Kiterocket’s renewable energy client portfolio. “Jessica brings deep technical knowledge and broad marketing experience in renewables to our team,” said Kiterocket CEO Amanda Foley. “Just as important as her professional track record is her personal dedication; she is an expert that truly walks the walk when it comes to her climate commitment."

At DWD, she will lead efforts to enhance the organization’s visibility among prospective donors, partners and program participants, and work to effectively communicate its mission and successes to a national audience.
