Johnson Controls, which offers a portfolio of building technology and software geared toward constructing smart, healthy and sustainable buildings, appoints Chris Bontempo as VP and CMO. Bontempo joins the company after almost 20 years at IBM, where he was most recently CMO, IBM Americas. In his new position, he will be responsible for marketing strategies across Johnson Controls to drive demand generation and enhance brand equity, including market development, research and planning. "Chris' experience will greatly enable our global product management and commercial teams as we connect new and existing customers with innovative technologies and continue growing demand for our solutions across smart, healthy, and sustainable buildings," said Johnson Controls chairman and CEO George Oliver.

Team One, Publicis Groupe’s media, digital and communications agency names Rosabel Murai as chief media officer. Murai was most recently managing director of OMD USA. She has also held senior executive media strategy and sales posts at Canvas Worldwide, Twitter and Deutsch. In her new role, she will be responsible for deepening Team One’s integrated marketing approach and ensuring continued impact for the agency’s roster of clients. “She is a modern thinker who understands the next generation of consumers and is poised to guide our clients into the future," said Team One CEO Julie Michael.
