GAP has recruited Fabiola Torres from PepsiCo to serve as its global CMO. At PepsiCo, Torres was most recently SVP and CMO for energy drinks and its Hispanic business unit. Before joining PepsiCo in 2020, she was VP global marketing at Apple and worked for 18 years at Nike in a range of senior marketing and brand strategy positions. In her new post, Torres will oversee marketing, creative, merchandising, store experience and operations teams. “It was incredibly important to bring on a leader who can navigate transformation, build brands that shape culture, and lead with purpose,” Global GAP CEO and president Mark Breitbard wrote in a memo to employees.

BMG, an international music company that is part of Bertelsmann, appoints Kristal McKanders Dube as global corporate communications lead. McKanders Dube joins BMG from Warner Music Group, where as SVP of communications and marketing, she led the global communications function at Warner Chappell Music, the company’s publishing arm. Before coming to WMG, she held brand leadership posts at Pacific Hospitality Group and InterContinental Hotels Group as well as working at Jackson Spalding and MSLGROUP. At BMG, McKanders Dube will handle corporate communications worldwide, spearheading internal and external communications efforts. “Kristal’s innate storytelling ability, coupled with her expertise in corporate and music publishing communications, makes her an invaluable addition to our team,” said BMG CEO Thomas Coesfeld.

PYA, a professional services firm with specialized expertise in healthcare consulting and certified public accounting, brings on Ron Feinbaum as CMO. Feinbaum most recently served as head of market growth for strategic communications and management consultancy Boldsquare. Before that, he was SVP and general manager of marketing, consumer products and home promotions at Scripps Network Interactive, with direct focus on HGTV and Food Network. In his new post, he will be responsible for growing PYA’s business relationships in alignment with its corporate strategies, messaging, values and brand. “Ron’s long and successful career has been achieved through strategic and values-driven planning to maximize business development and brand awareness through target-oriented marketing strategies,” said PYA president and CEO Marty Brown.
