Spain’s LLYC has recruited Luis Cadena, a veteran at WPP’s GroupM media buying unit for the US CFO position.
The move follows LLYC’s acquisition of Lambert Global, which added $35M in revenues to its base and tripled the Spanish firm’s size in the US.
“LLYC's project in the U.S. is so important that the finance team needs to be ready to partner with the business,” said Marta Guisasola, global CFO.
Cadena will work closely with Guisasola and CEO Alejandro Romero to drive business initiatives, analyze financial performance, ensure compliance with accounting standards, oversee budgeting, improve internal controls, and manage relationships with external parties.
At GroupM, Cadena served as LATAM business operations director during his six-year run.
He also worked at KMPG and Codinter, where he handled senior accounting and finance matters.
LLYC has US offices in New York, Washington. Miami, Grand Rapids, Detroit, St Louis, Phoenix and San Diego.
