The Washington Media Group has inked a one-year $960K contract to support the PR and communications needs of Qatar’s international media office.
The firm is to meet regularly with the Qataris to support their media strategy and discuss relevant coverage in the US. It will provide written materials, including media statements and op-eds.
Qatar, which has played a key role in mediation talks between Hamas and Israel, has hosted the political leadership of the terror group—at America’s request—since 2012.
Earlier this month, the US told Qatar that it should kick Hamas out, if it continues to reject a ceasefire with Israel.
