Publicis Groupe has named Nannette LaFond-Dufour its chief impact officer, a new position.
She will be responsible for making sure that the French firm makes good on its ESG commitments, as well as initiatives such as the Working with Cancer pledge and the Women’s Forum for the Economy & Society.
She joins Publicis from McCann Worldgroup, where she was chief client officer and its first chief sustainability officer.
At Publicis, LaFond-Dufour will join its management committee and report to CEO Arthur Sadoun.
He said Publicis understands that for its “growth to be truly sustainable, on every front, it also needs to be responsible, which is why we lead the way through our best-in-class ESG initiatives.”
He’s confident that LaFond-Dufour’s proven expertise in delivering impactful change with some of the world’s biggest companies will drive Publicis’ “ESG agenda even further, faster, for the good of our people, our clients, and our planet.”
LaFond-Dufour will work closely with Agathe Bousquet, president of Publicis France and Directoire+ sponsor for ESG.
